Laundry Care

Rivayraa linens are made from soft, breathable natural cotton voile and hand-block printed using natural dyes. Proper care ensures they stay beautiful and get softer with every wash.

• Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Use mild, pH-neutral detergent. Avoid fabric softeners and harsh chemicals that can degrade natural fibers.
• Wash with like colors. Because we use natural dyes, some color variation or light bleeding may occur during the first few washes—this is normal and temporary.
• Do not bleach. Bleach and strong detergents can damage the fabric and affect the subtle tones of natural dye.
• Tumble dry low on a gentle setting. Remove promptly to avoid excessive wrinkling.
• Warm iron if needed. Use a pressing cloth over printed areas to preserve the hand block print.
• Dry clean optional. You may dry clean if preferred, especially for larger or delicate pieces.

Note: For large quilts or coverlets, use a large-capacity washing machine to prevent strain on the fabric and stitching.
